2. Description of the service
Fajrunaa is an iOS and Android alarm application, designed to help you not miss the dawn prayer (Fajr). It lets you set alarms (Fajr, other prayers, regular alarms) and attach challenges that must be completed to stop the alarm.
3. User account
An account is not required to use the core features. If you choose to create one:
- You agree to provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and the actions taken through your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the application's settings.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the application for unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to the orthodox Muslim (Salafi) tradition on which the application's religious content is based.
- Attempt to bypass the anti-snooze challenges by technical means (jailbreak, code modification, etc.).
- Reuse the application's content (verses, hadiths, du'as, texts, design) without written permission.
5. Intellectual property
The application, its code, its design, its content (texts, illustrations, sounds) are the property of the publisher or its assignees. The Qur'an verses and hadiths quoted are in the public domain; however, the French translations offered in the application may remain subject to the rights of the translators where applicable.
6. Availability of the service
The application is provided “as is”. We strive to keep it available but cannot guarantee zero interruption (updates, server incidents, phone failure, OS power-saving mode, etc.).
Important — religious use: although Fajrunaa is designed to keep you from missing the Fajr prayer, the user remains responsible for performing their prayer. The publisher cannot be held responsible for a missed prayer due to a reason outside its technical control (strict silent mode, dead battery, revoked system permissions, etc.).
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages. No liability shall be incurred for indirect damages (data loss, loss of business, etc.).
8. Personal data
Processing of your data is governed by our privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at this address. Continuing to use the application after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
